Good morning KidsPort parents. I hope you've had an awesome week. We are so excited for the start of our new modern service coming this Sunday. I hope that you have been and will continue to be in prayer for us during this time, that this service will be fruitful for the kingdom of God. Also, I wanted to encourage you all to think about one other family you could bring with you this Sunday, we want to see this Sunday be a big success!
Below you will find some updates and reminders regarding KidsPort and Sunday school; there have been and will be some changes so please take care to read all of the updates.
KidsPort
Kids need to be checked in/tagged prior to the service.
KidsPort will be during the 9:00AM service time. Kids will dismiss before Pastor Steve preaches as normal. (around 9:15-9:20)
You will receive a pickup tag that matches your child’s & it must be presented at pickup.
Young KidsPort (potty trained 3s-Preschool age) will still meet in the classroom on the left after the toddler nursery.
Older KidsPort (K-5th grade) will still meet in the Treehouse.
Please let your child know that we will all meet in the foyer & walk back together. There will not be any more running to the classrooms.
After the 9:00 service is over, if the family is staying for Sunday School @ 1030, the kids will stay where they are for Sunday School.
If you are attending the 10:30 service and plan to attend adult Sunday School prior to attending that service, please check your kids in at Kidsport at 9:15 as Kidsport will service as their spiritual feeding during what is the current 9:15-10:15 Sunday School hour.
We are starting a new curriculum for K-5th! We will be going through a Catechism. You can download the APP HERE -- This curriculum will have much more comprehensive and thorough material during this KidsPort hour.
KidsQuest (Sunday school)
K-5th Kids Quest will now be located in the treehouse.
If families are attending the 10:30 service, preschool aged (potty trained 3s & up) - 5th grade will attend the worship portion of the service like normal and will be dismissed to KidsQuest before Pastor Steve preaches.
Parents that will attend the 9am service and attend S.S. during the 10:30 hour will not pick kids up from KidsPort but will just let them stay in the treehouse.
PICK-UP
For pick-up parents will not be allowed past the double doors in the KidsPort wing. We are doing this for safety reasons with expected visiting families.
